ACU Team Green Junior Cup & Senior 300 Series

Elliot Pinson and Luke Hopkins were the boys to beat in the ACU Team Green Junior Cup, Pinson took pole with Hopkins going on to take the win in the opening race. In the Seniors Steve Jordan made it three wins from three.

BG Products MRO Powerbikes inc Clubman 1000

Michael O’Brien took 3 wins from 4 and battled hard with Stephen Draper in the Powerbikes. Putting his R1 on pole in race one its was Draper who took the early lead and ultimately the first race win by a mere 4 hundredths of a second as it went to a drag race for the line. The rest of the pack chased hard and in the Clubman class, Jamie Tibble managed both wins.

MRO Minitwins

Paddock42 rider Grant Robertson (2014 Champion) put in a scorcher to take pole but it ended up a DNF in race one as the Fleet rider crashed out on lap 3 in race one. The ‘Hard Charger Award’ if there was one would have to be awarded to Richard Hicking who started at the back of the grid in race 2 coming over the line at the end of the first lap in 9th place moving up to second place with two laps to go. A full 1 second behind Charlie King, a stunning lap was put in, fastest of the race, ensured he past King to take the win – a remarkable ride.
