Team ABBA Racing tops warm-up.

What a difference 24 hours makes, torrential rain greeted the teams on Saturday morning but today see’s temperatures into the double figures and glorious sunshine gracing the Northamptonshire circuit.

A short sharp 10 minute warm up session for the drivers to get their first full running on a completely dry surface after yesterdays washout.
The race looking like it will be fully dry, cars were queuing up to make the most of this dry session.

A real Mercedes fight at the top. AMG hotshot Adam Christodoulou onboard the #8 Team ABBA Racing set’s the first quick dry times of the weekend with a 2:01.837 nearly 2 seconds quicker than the second fastest time of the morning.
RAM Racing’s Mercedes was next up with a 2:03.820 in the hands of Ian Loggie. With a dry surface it seems the big torquey engines are coming to life with the #31 JRM Bentley this quickest of the morning just 0.0007 slower than the RAM Racing Mercedes of Ian Loggie.

In GT4 the #62 Academy Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage was at the top of the times with the #15 Ford Mustang from Multimatic only 0.1 behind them. #77 Fox Motorsport in their Mercedes was third quickest of the session setting a 2:13.686.

With the morning warm-up complete the teams will be securing in their dry setups and hoping what data they have will give them the right setup for this 3 hour race. The green flag is due for 12:35 GMT.
