2015 Lotus Festival returns to Brands

Brands Hatch welcomed held its annual Lotus Festival last weekend (15th & 16th August), fine weather and with a big turn out from the Lotus clubs, the circuit was packed full of Lotus fans from all over Europe who descended on the Kent track to pay homage to Mr. Chapman’s iconic brand.

Out on track naturally a strong Lotus contingent could be seen with Lotus Cup Europe, Lotus Cup UK and the Lotus On Track Elise Trophy all out battling hard for their respective championships – the Europe Cup boasted drivers from all over the EU and a healthy 35 car grid. Joining them in the paddock were the teams and drivers from the GT Cup Championship, Monoposto Racing Club , MSVT Trackday Trophy Allcomers, Production BMW’s and the Toyo Tires Racing Saloons. Good size grids and close racing was enjoyed over the weekend and along with Lotus club displays and various stalls the appreciation for this famous car manufacturer continues to go from strength to strength.
