Classic FF2000 moves to HSCC…

Historic Sports Car Club have announced that the Universal Racing Services Classic Formula Ford 2000 will come under its wing in 2016 and there will be an eight meeting schedule for this coming season…

Classic Formula Ford 2000 is for cars built up to 1983 and this year drivers from the championship will join the HSCC grids racing alongside HSCC’s Classic F3 cars, Classic Racing Cars and HSCC Historic FF 2000. The 2016 calendar includes the Silverstone and Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuits and the Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting.

The 2016 HSCC Season Programme:

16th/17th April – Castle Combe with CF3
21st/22nd May – Silverstone GP with HFF2000
4th/5th June – Snetterton with CF3
18th/19th June – Cadwell Park with CRC
1st/3rd July – Brands Hatch GP with HFF2000
27th /29th August – Oulton Park with CRC
17th September – Brands Hatch Indy with CF3
15th/ 16th October – Silverstone with CF3

The club will be at Race Retro this weekend and will have a major display at the Stoneleigh Park event.

The club will have a fine eight-car display that will highlight the great variety of the clubs racing programme as HSCC start its 50th anniversary year.

Historic FF: Lola T200 from James Lovett
Classic F3: Chevron B34 from Bruce Bartell
Historic F2: March 752 from Phil Hall
Historic Touring Cars: Ford Lotus Cortina from Richard Dutton
Guards Trophy: Merlyn Mk4a from Richard Perry
Pre 80 Endurance: Lola T390 from Daryl Taylor
70s Road Sports: Lotus Elan from Iain Daniels
