Saturday was a day for a ‘good pair of wets’, no wheel changes either, the water came down all day finally stopping in the early hours of Sunday morning. With the ‘marbles’ and fine oil always left by previous race cars, now mixed with water made the grip very tricky to judge with even seasoned riders struggling to find the ‘edge’.

Sunday morning was a whole new day, blue sky broke through some of the clouds, the sun shone down and dry lines soon appeared as the smell of two stroke filled the air and everybody dried out. One of the great things about the bike racing community is the spirit, good weather or bad we are all there for the love of what we do, building and racing bikes…
