BRSCC Brands Hatch 8th & 9th April

Brands Hatch welcomed the BRSCC last weekend as the club’s 2017 calendar starts to gather pace…

BRSCC meetings were also held at Oulton Park and Snetterton last weekend however the Britcover National Formula Ford 1600 Championship, BRSCC Formula Jedi Championship, BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship, BRSCC Mazda MX5 SuperCup, Fiesta Championship, Fiesta Junior Championship, HRDC Academy / A-Series Challenge, HRDC Touring Greats / TC63 and the Teekay Couplings Production Gti Mk2 Championship & Mk5 Series all filled the paddock. Decent grids too, the FF’s getting 31 drivers, 34 Fiestas, and even 40 cars on the MX5 Super Cup Grid ! Plus with BTCC racer Andrew Jordan and father Mike ex-BTCC driver in an Austin GT40 Speedwell joining a full HRDC grids added further interest to the meeting.

Fiesta Juniors is always a favourite with the talent spotters as it makes the ideal stepping stone up from karts into cars as hungry drivers make the transition to pursue potential careers in the tough motorsport world – look out for new Team P42 Driver Lachlan Bearman.
