BRITISH GT & BRDC BRITISH F3 CHAMPIONSHIP

This weekend (5/6th August) Brands Hatch hosted the penultimate round of the British GT Championship. With over 30 cars reaching speeds of more than 150mph, the action was bound to be fast and furious and GT fans weren’t disappointed.

The Main event was a gruelling two-hour test of strength and stamina for these battle hardened GT3 and GT4 racers all fighting for pole position. In the end it was Rick Parfitt Jnr and Seb Morris who were victorious in the GT3 category and go into the final round of this season’s British GT Championship campaign with a 10.5-point lead. Over in GT4 it was Jan
Jonck and William Phillips who grabbed top slot, despite starting the two-hour race from 10th in position.

After a dramatic start to racing on day two for the BRDC F3 Championship, it was Enaam Ahmed who claimed victory with his 10th win of the season with Cameron Das clinching second place and James Pull taking 3rd position which makes it his 12th visit to the podium this year.

With the Mini Challenge, Ginetta Racing Drivers Club & VW Racing Cup also on circuit it certainly made for an action packed weekend!
