MINTEX BECOME LATEST BEST OF BRITISH PARTNER for Mini Challenge

MINI CHALLENGE have announced that MINTEX have joined the growing list of British Motorsport businesses taking part in the Power Maxed MINI CHALLENGE Best of British Award Programme. The award now brings together the support of eight of the UK’s best motorsport businesses to help promote rising British talent. MINTEX have been the sole brake pad supplier to the Power Maxed MINI CHALLENGE since the start of the championship and their products have served on three different MINI CHALLENGE car specifications throughout that time.

In 2013 the award involved of providing the winner of the MINI CHALLENGE JCW Class with a test with the Championship winning Triple Eight team in their contemporary BTCC machinery. The test provided the class winner with the chance to showcase the drivers talent and provided an invaluable promotional opportunity for the driver and the Best of British Partners. In 2014 the Best of British team have come together, to offer an even better prize to MINI Challenge drivers.

The top six JCW class drivers and the winning Cooper Class driver will be invited to attend an assessment day with a panel of judges including representatives from our Best of British Partners and a BTCC driver, who will observe the drivers in a range of exercises designed to test driving, fitness and media skills.

£15,000 PRIZE FUND FOR 2015 SEASON

The winner will be chosen by the panellists and enjoy a prize valued at up to £15,000. Prize options will, amongst others include:

A BTCC Test.
A subsidised season in the new Gen 3 MINI Challenge race car in 2015.
Free Entry in 2015 MINI Challenge and a discount on a gen 3 MINI race car.
